Initially trained as a photographer, I came to realize early on in my career that I had a fascination with prop stylists at photo shoots.  I gravitated towards them, and loved seeing a set come to life with the different elements. Sometimes when I am at an outdoor market in the summer, I'll come across something interesting, and base a photograph around that one item.  I spend a lot of time at markets, estate sales and antique stores off the beaten path. I love the challenge of finding the right prop for a project, and the way my days are all different. I love the collaboration with photographers, art directors and clients. When I'm not working on a shoot, I unwind by cooking and baking; often my cookies end up at the studio for clients and crew to enjoy! Travel is a reset button for me. Immersing myself in a different culture, trying to communicate in different languages, and eating local food help keep my creativity fueled.
